Today on The Bubba Show, Bubba welcomes back Claudio Grass from the Mises Institute, author and founding member of Global Gold. Bubba and Claudio discuss current market conditions and what to expect. Claudio expresses concerns about the economy; he believes central bank economists are wrong with their read on economic conditions.
Bubba wants to know if central bankers realize that they are endangering the free market system. Claudio believes that wealth redistribution is a major problem and the middle class is under serious threat. The system has so many flaws that it seems unlikely that things will end well.
World War II is up next; Bubba asks about Switzerland’s role in the war. Claudio explains Switzerland’s neutral stance and why the Swiss franc was the currency of choice during the war. Claudio also tells Bubba about the misinformation propagated with respect to Switzerland.
Bitcoin and alternative currencies are back in focus and Bubba asks Claudio about his views. Claudio understands Bitcoin, but has a number of concerns. Claudio strongly believes in gold and its monetary role and is firmly opposed to the fiat currency model.
